This series of 1955 consists of 24 figures. It is the first series Mokarex in 1/2 round-bump. The characters arise for the greater part from paintings but also from statues as Madame de Sévigné ( It is necessary to note the fragility of the feather).

It is as well in this series as two characters are inverted, Madame du Barry is in fact Pompadour (see the investigation HERE).

Fragonard with its intact brush is very difficult to find, but you should not forget the swords of Louis XV, Vauban and Turenne. The fact that the scepter of Louis XIV is very straight and welded in the base is one more in the collection of this royal series.
